Sure Recruitment Livingston are excited to be working alongside a well known Parcel Delivery Company to fulfil a new Operations Supervisor Role in their Edinburgh Depot. This is a temporary to permanent position.
Role:
- Oversee daily operations of the warehouse.
- Ensure sortation runs smoothly, on time and accurately.
- Using a system to plan driver routes and tweaking this where necessary
- Overseeing approximately 30 drivers, ensuring they are on plan to meet their first ETA
Requirements:
- Previous supervisor experience
- Experience in the operations of parcel delivery would be beneficial, but not essential as full training will be given
- Proficient in dealing with KPI’s
- Ability to operate forklift desirable
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage a team

Shifts:
Rotating between the two shift times below:
Monday to Friday 5am – 1pm
Monday to Friday 10am – 7pm
You will be required to work every second Saturday after 12 weeks
