Sure Recruitment are currently hiring a Weekend Transport Coordinator for our client based in Linwood.
This is a permanent position with an industry leading transport company.
This is a role for someone able to work off their own initiative who is comfortable liaising with other warehouse and transport planners. Ideally the candidate has previous experience in a similar role.
Shift Pattern : Friday to Sunday
Shift Times : 0800 – 1800 (Friday) 0600 – 1700 (Saturday/Sunday)
Pay Rate : £30,000 P/A
Duties :
- Customer receives a first-class service whilst maintaining cost effectiveness
- Day to day load planning and scheduling of the fleet
- Prioritising workload and route planning
- Daily driver brief and de-brief
- Tachograph tracking
- Liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Liaising with other internal departments
The above duties are integral aspects of the role, however there are other tasks involved in the general day to day operation of the depot which you will be required to be a part of.
Candidate Criteria :
- Previous experience working in the transport industry
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and work off their own initiative
- Own transport or live locally due to shift times and location
